Good food, good service served in a clean and well kept restaurant. Nothing fancy here, just good home cooking. We will be stopping in again real soon.
Great food and choices. Good service. Everything home made. The buttered buns are fantastic!
My wife and I aren't from the area and stopped in here for lunch. The food was mediocre at best. I ordered the open-faced roast beef sandwich; I'm certain the roast beef came from a can and the mashed potatoes were instant, made from flakes. The gravy was also from a can or instant mix. It was all very flavorless. When I eat in a restaurant I expect higher quality ingredient. After we finished eating we got our ticket and then never saw our server again. Someone finally moved to the register about 10 minutes later and were able to pay and leave. We'll be trying some other local restaurants in the future; we won't visit this one again.
Love their food but staff leaves a lot to be desired and way to many tables in such a small space and all the booths are ripped up and horrible to sit in make for a unpleasant environment along with the music that always way to loud. I'd suggest picking up a to go order but still plan to wait a long time to get your order.
Arrived hungry! Server was busy so I got a menu from rack. We made our selections and was ready when Sheila got table. She was friendly, took our orders and brought us the best buns. The place was crowded and it took about 20 minutes to get our food which is not excessive. The plates were overflowing. It was all DELICIOUS. The server checked on us several times. It was a completely great experience
