The rest stop was very clean and the staff member was very polite. But I feel we should remain open at least until 8:00. All the other states we went into seemed to be opened later than 5:00. We pay to drive in this turnpike, but have less options than other states. Thank you.
The best place to shop for restroom, they are always clean. Nice folks at the center. Everything you could want to learn about Oklahoma can be found thete. Souvenirs postcards stuffed animals. Wonderful Native American crafts too.
Well kept. Friendly folks "manning" the rest area. I did expect much more tribal information though. (Still hunting for the tribal area map)
Just stop when leaving MO and heading west on I-44! They have everything from helpful counter clerks, gift shop, clean restrooms, maps & attractions featured here. Picnic tables and nice outdoor area always make this a good lunch atop.
Arrived at 5:30pm, place was locked up tight. It was embarrassing that a family of 6 from out-of-state stopped to use rest room facilities but no way to access from outside. We had just completed 12-state vacation and they all had 24-hour very nice rest stops, except not in Oklahoma. Sad that you have to get off the turnpike to find a rest room.
